I had a decent stay at Menara Peninsula Hotel, enjoying the good food during dinner and the central location. However, the hotel has a classic style that feels a bit old-fashioned, and the traffic in the area can be a hassle. Overall, it’s a suitable choice for business travel, though there are areas needing improvement.

Rooms
6.0
The room I stayed in was spacious but had an old-style interior that didn’t meet my expectations for a hotel of this grade. The bathroom needed updating, and getting into the shower can be challenging for some.
Service
6.0
Service was generally smooth, but I noticed some staff members were polite yet lacked warmth. Room service took longer than expected, which was a bit frustrating.
Location
7.0
The location is quite central, making it easy to access many local attractions; however, the traffic can be quite bad, especially on weekends. There’s a shopping mall across the street for convenience.
Dining

The food was a highlight of my stay, especially during dinner at Rumpi Lounge, where the coffee machine and selection of local dishes like soto ayam were good.
Facilities
6.0
The gym and pool facilities were decent, operating from early morning until late at night. Wi-Fi was easy to access, and the TV had a good range of channels, but the overall amenities felt standard.

My stay at Menara Peninsula Hotel was overall satisfactory. The spacious room was clean and had great amenities, though I found the dining options to be slightly disorganized during breakfast. The check-in process could definitely use some improvement, as it took longer than expected. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, particularly due to the fantastic staff who provided excellent service! 😊

Rooms

The room was quite spacious, clean, and well-furnished, although the mattress was a bit too hard for my liking.

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, especially Gita, who made the experience even better.

Breakfast had a lot of options, but the food preparation was lacking at times, leading to delays.

5.0/10

My recent stay at Menara Peninsula Hotel was a mixed experience. While I appreciated the convenient location and the friendly breakfast staff, the overall quality of the rooms felt outdated, and the service was a bit slow at times. Despite enjoying the extensive breakfast options, I was disappointed with some elements that seemed to lack attention.

Rooms
6.0
The room I stayed in was decent but felt quite dated (the bathrooms especially could use a facelift). I found the bed comfortable, but the lighting was inadequate for working, and the tub's high edge made showering a bit difficult.
Service
6.0
The staff was polite and greeted me with smiles, which was nice. However, I felt their friendliness could improve. Room service was somewhat slow; for example, I had to follow up for my ice cubes.
Location

Menara Peninsula's location is very central, making it easy to access popular shopping malls and dining options nearby. Just be prepared for heavy traffic, especially on weekends!
Dining

The breakfast buffet had a wide range of options, including local delicacies like soto ayam which were delicious. I also appreciated the separate coffee machine for coffee lovers.
Facilities

The gym and pool facilities were decent and had appropriate equipment. I had no complaints about Wi-Fi speed either; it connected easily and worked well.

I had a nice stay at Menara Peninsula Hotel, enjoying its spacious junior suite and ample facilities. However, the hotel shows signs of age, and I faced some issues like not having lounge access. Overall, it's a fair value, but some improvements could enhance the experience.

Rooms
6.0
I was pleased with the spacious junior suite, which provided me plenty of room to move around. However, the outdated decor and dust in some areas detracted from the experience.
Service
6.0
While the staff was generally pleasant and accommodating, they felt a bit distant at times. I appreciated their help but believe more warmth could improve service quality.
Location
8.0
The hotel is conveniently located in the central area of Jakarta, making it easy to access shopping centers and other attractions. This aspect made my stay much more enjoyable!
Dining

Breakfast had a great selection and tasted delicious, which was a highlight of my stay. However, the pricing for other meals seemed high compared to the portion sizes.
Facilities

The gym and health club were well-maintained and offered ample equipment, including a nice whirlpool and sauna. I found the facilities complete but could benefit from some updates.

My stay at Menara Peninsula Hotel was quite pleasant overall. The friendly staff really stood out, and the amenities like the gym and pool were well-kept. However, the location did have its drawbacks with heavy traffic, and I found the room amenities a bit dated. Still, it offers good value for short stays with decent dining options.

Rooms
6.0
I stayed in a Deluxe King Room, which was neat and tidy but showed some signs of age. The bathroom felt dated, especially the shower-in-tub setup, which might be tricky for some guests.
Service
6.0
The staff were generally polite, but I felt there was room for improvement in their friendliness. Room service was a little slow, though they responded quickly after my second call.
Location
8.0
The hotel is centrally located near Slipi Jaya and not far from great shopping areas like Tanah Abang and Thamrin City. However, the traffic can be quite a hassle, especially on weekends.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast was a highlight for me with a variety of choices and local dishes. However, I found the food prices in general to be a bit on the high side for the portions offered.
Facilities
8.0
I enjoyed the well-maintained gym and pool facilities. They were open from 6 AM to 9 PM, making it convenient to get a workout in. Wi-Fi was easy to connect to and adequate for my needs.
